Greeks on strike ahead of bailout vote

Daily life in Greece is being disrupted on Wednesday, as public transport civil servants and doctors went on strike to protest austerity measures to be voted on in the Greek parliament on Thursday. The measures, including pension cuts and tax increases, are required by Greece's international creditors, and will unlock a new tranche of the country's bailout scheme, paving the way for discussions on debt relief.
