Tusk can 'imagine' the UK still remaining in EU

European Council president Donald Tusk said Thursday that some of his British friends have asked whether he could "imagine an outcome where the UK stays part of the EU". Tusk told them: "The European Union was built on dreams that seemed impossible to achieve. So, who knows? You may say I'm a dreamer, but I am not the only one," quoting the song, Imagine, by John Lennon. Read more.

EU Modernisation Fund: an open door for fossil gas in Romania

Among the largest sources of financing for energy transition of central and eastern European countries, the €60bn Modernisation Fund remains far from the public eye. And perhaps that's one reason it is often used for financing fossil gas projects.
