EU judges rule to keep Hamas funds frozen

The EU court in Luxembourg has set aside a previous judgment from 2014, which said that Hamas, a Palestinian militant group, should not be designated as a terrorist entity and should have its funds unfrozen. The 2014 ruling said the EU had wrongly listed Hamas on the basis of media reports, but Wednesday's verdict said member states were entitled to use outside sources as well as their own information.
