UK court says Blair cannot be charged over Iraq war
By EUobserver
The UK High Court ruled on Monday that former prime minister Tony Blair cannot be prosecuted for his decision to go to war against Iraq, alongside the US, in 2003. Judges said that the charge of "crime of aggression", which was put forward by a former Iraqi general, to sue Blair, does not exist under English law and that the case is "hopeless".
