Most child refugees exploited and trafficked, says UN

The vast majority of children and teenagers travelling as migrants and refugees from North Africa towards Europe have been trafficked or exploited, a UN survey says. The survey of thousands of young people under the age of 17, published on Tuesday by the UN refugee agency and the International Organization for Migration, says 78 percent had reported abuse along the central Mediterranean route.
