MEPs to call for postponing Brexit talks assessment
By EUobserver
In a resolution to be adopted next week, the European Parliament will call on EU leaders to "postpone [their] assessment on whether sufficient progress has been made" in EU-UK negotiations on Brexit, "unless there is [a] major breakthrough" until then, according to a draft text seen by EUobserver. They say that "sufficient progress has not yet been made" on citizens' rights, Ireland and the financial settlement.
