Spanish bank to leave Catalonia

Banco Sabadell, a major Spanish bank, is set to move its seat from Barcelona to Alicante in southeastern Spain following the Catalan bid to split the country, reported El Pais newspaper. The bank on Thursday said it planned the move "in order to protect the interests of our customers, shareholders and employees."
