EU parliament wants equal pay for posted workers

A large majority in the European Parliament's employment and social affairs committee agreed Monday that workers posted in another EU country must get the same remuneration as local workers - including bonuses. The proposal is part of a revision of the posted workers directive, which will be voted on in plenary next week before being negotiated with the Council. In 2015, there were 2.05 million posted workers in the EU.
