Risk to asylum kids in EU increasing, says charity
By EUobserver
A report out by the charity Save the Children on Wednesday says over 100,000 minors and children arrived in Europe last year. Many came alone or were separated from their families. "Today, national and EU policies have become even more restrictive, and many more children risk not having papers, or going underground," said the NGO's EU director, Ester Asin. Mental health and suicide are among the problems they face.
