May: EU member states will not lose out with Brexit

UK prime minister Theresa May said Monday that EU member states should not "fear they will need to pay more or receive less" under the current EU budget, which runs until 2020, a year after Brexit. She told MPs that her government is "going through our potential commitments line by line and that detailed work continues". The financial settlement has been the main blocking point in UK-EU Brexit talks.
