Report: Israeli PM invited to meet EU ministers

Lithuania has invited Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu to speak with EU foreign ministers in Brussels on 11 December in what would be the first event of its kind since 1995, when the late Shimon Peres came to the EU capital, The Jerusalem Post reports. The overture comes amid frosty relations over Israeli settlement expansion which has put EU-Israel ministerial meetings on hold since 2012.
