December euro summit still on, Tusk confirms

European Council president Donald Tusk dispelled doubts on Wednesday over the euro summit planned in Brussels next month. "Just to be clear: The December Euro Summit is on," he said on Twitter, amid concerns that the political deadlock in Germany could block political discussions and decisions at EU level. "We need to discuss what, how and when to move forward on the EMU and the Banking Union," he said.
