Citizens' rights will be 'enshrined in UK law'
By EUobserver
Citizens' rights after Brexit will be "enshrined in UK law and enforced by British courts", UK prime minister Theresa May said on Friday, after publication of the EU-UK joint report on Brexit. The report said the Court of Justice of the European Union is "the ultimate arbiter of the interpretation of Union law" and that UK courts shall have "due regard to relevant decisions" of the EU's highest court.
