By EUobserver
France's National Front (FN) party has been charged for embezzlement over its suspected use of European Parliament assistants for party work, its treasurer Wallerand de Saint-Just told Le Monde newspaper. The FN is suspected of having employed some 40 people, paid by the parliament as assistants to MEPs, including party leader Marine Le Pen, at a cost of around €5 million.
