Trump to attend 'shared future' talks at Davos meeting

US president Donald Trump will head to Davos, Switzerland, for the 48th World Economic Forum annual meeting held 23-26 January, the White House announced on Tuesday. This year's theme is on "creating a shared future in a fractured world", which contrasts with Trump's insistence on "America First". Last year, Chinese president XI Jinping positioned China as a world leader, when speaking in the forum.
