Hamburg 'dieselgate' driver wins case to get new VW car

A Hamburg district court has ruled Volkswagen must take back a diesel vehicle with cheating exhaust emissions software and replace it with a complete new car, NRD reports. The car, a Volkswagen Tiguan, was bought three years ago from Volkswagen in Hamburg, and already had its cheating software retrofitted. The car dealer can challenge the verdict in a higher regional court.
