EU will be exempted from tariffs, says US minister

The EU will be on the list of countries that will be exempted from US tariffs on steel and aluminium, US trade secretary Robert Lighthizer said Thursday. Speaking in a House of Representatives committee meeting he said that the EU, South Korea, Australia, Argentina and Brazil may be exempted. The information still has to be confirmed by president Donald Trump.
