Timmermans: Still no solution in sight with Poland

"We've made some progress but we are not in a position to say the issue has been resolved," European Commission first vice president Frans Timmermans said Monday about his discussion with the Polish government over the independence of the judiciary and the situation of the rule of law. Asked by a journalist if there was any chance that he would withdraw the Article 7 procedure against Poland, Timmermans replied "No".

EU Modernisation Fund: an open door for fossil gas in Romania
