Schroeder and Sarkozy appear with Putin at World Cup

Former German and French leaders Gerhard Schroeder and Nikolas Sarkozy joined Russian president Vladimir Putin at the football World Cup opening party in Moscow on Thursday, even though EU leaders and EU officials stayed away in a quiet protest against Russian aggression in Europe. Leaders of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Panama, and Saudi Arabia were also snapped enjoying Putin's hospitality.
