French paper exposes oil-for-recognition deal with Libya rebels

French paper Liberation has published the text of a secret letter written by Libyan rebel authorities, the TNC, to the French authorities on 3 April in which they promise to "attribute 35% of the total crude oil production to France in return for total and permanent support for our Council."
