Latvians say No to Russian language

About 75% of voters in a referendum in Latvia on Sunday rejected making Russian an official language. Turnout was 69% - much higher than expected. The country's ethnic Russians, about one third of the population, are worried that far-right elements in the ruling coalition want to further curb their rights.
