EU justice comissioner Franco Frattini has urged national prosecutors and judges to investigate their governments' alleged involvement in secret CIA prisons and flights, using the facts from a key report backed by the Council of Europe on Tuesday (27 June).
The resolution, passed by the parliamentary assembly of the Strasbourg-based human rights watchdog, approves the findings of the inquiry launched last November led by Swiss senator Dick Marty.
