Death of Kosovo leader complicates status talks

EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana has called for "unity and responsibility" among Kosovo politicians following the death of Ibrahim Rugova, the leader of the Kosovo Albanian majority.

Mr Rugova, the powerful pro-independence president of Kosovo, died of lung cancer on Saturday (21 January).
