Number of female scientists in the EU still low

Figures published by the European Commission show that although women's participation in science and technology is increasing, progress remains very slow and remains static in some sciences.

Reacting to the results published on Monday (15 May) in a publication named "She figures", European commissioner for science Janez Potocnik emphasised that the EU must make better use of female scientists.
