Finland proposes ECB vote changes

Finland has proposed a change to the voting system in the European Central Bank due to be employed once the EU expands next year.

Under Finland's proposal, according to Helsingin Sanomat, 15 members of the ECB Governing Council would vote at any given time. Six of these members would be the Executive Board members, and nine would be Governors of national euro zone central banks.
