A meeting of the Czech government tomorrow looks set to decide who will be Prague’s man or woman in Brussels.
The Czech Prime Minister, Vladimir Spidla, made it clear at the weekend that former environment minister Milos Kuzvart is the only candidate to become the Czech Republic’s first European Commissioner, but some of his coalition partners disagree.
The Freedom Union-DEU has said they believe that "there are better candidates".
