Ingvar Kamprad, the Swedish businessman who founded furniture retailer IKEA, has overtaken Microsoft's Bill Gates as the world's richest person, according to Swedish business weekly Veckans Affarer.
In its April edition, published today (5 April), the magazine says Mr Kamprad has a personal fortune of 400 billion crowns (44 billion euro), putting him substantially ahead of his nearest rich rivals.
