More measures have been agreed to assist Northern Cyprus to end its economic isolation.
EU ambassadors meeting yesterday (28 April) in Brussels agreed to allow goods to travel from the Turkish north across the so-called "green line" into the Greek Cypriot south.
Goods will then be able to be distributed across the EU tariff free.
The deal will be a major boost to the North’s economy and will create an almost level playing field for Northern and Southern Cypriot goods.
