Finns decide on Commissioner to replace Liikanen

The Finnish government has decided on a replacement for their European Commissioner Erkki Liikanen, who takes up another job next week.

Olli Rehn, currently an economic policy advisor to the Finnish prime minister, has been chosen to take over from Mr Liikanen who on Monday (12 July) starts as governor of the Bank of Finland.
