The European Commissions is proposing a new law under which criminal sanctions would be applied against those involved in counterfeiting and piracy.
Justice commissioner Franco Frattini announced the proposal, representing a criminal law dimension against counterfeiting and piracy at a pan European level, on Wednesday (26 April).
