EU calls for better labelling of sunscreens

With summer just around the corner, the European Commission announced on Thursday (4 May) that it will be taking measures to improve sun cream labelling so that information about the protection it provides is more accurate.

According to the commission, the present labelling system has a number of "weaknesses" meaning consumers are not getting clear and reliable information about the sun products they are using.
