It's dog eat dog in Strasbourg on Wednesday night (16 November) as MEPs' previous compromise deals on the EU chemicals law, REACH, come under attack just hours before Thursday's vote.
The REACH bill, standing for registration, evaluation and authorisation of chemicals, seeks to impose controls on substances used in everyday products - with the future of Europe's €440 billion a year chemicals industry and MEPs' environmental credentials at stake.
