Commission hit by insider trading scandal

Authorities in Brussels yesterday (15 October) raided the offices of the European Commission’s agricultural department as part of an investigation into alleged price-cheating in the wheat-market, reports the Danish newspaper Jyllands Posten.

According to reports raids have taken place in the Netherlands, France and Belgium. A number of people have been arrested.
