Elsinore - The crisis may be felt in everyone's pockets, but bankers spare no expenses when it comes to celebrating their top brass. Including renting castles, sopranos and painters.

This is the farewell party organised for Josef Ackermann, former head of the International Institute of Finance, a lobby group of the world's biggest banks. Ackermann was instrumental in negotiating the second Greek bailout which included losses for the banks. But he admits he was rather sceptical it would work.
