Romanian interior minister quits over referendum

Romania's interior minister Ioan Rus resigned on Monday citing political pressure from both the suspended and the interim President over voters lists used in a referendum on impeaching the President. "I cannot accept that the ministry be part of not respecting the law in Romania," he said.
