Samaras to stop MPs from hiring relatives

Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras Thursday demanded new legislation by next week preventing MPs from hiring spouses or other relatives as parliamentary employees or for high-level public sector positions, Greeks newspaper Ekathimerini reports. Samaras took the initiative after it emerged one of his deputies, Vyron Polydoras, had hired his daughter.
