Tallinn City to offer free public transport

As the first European capital, Tallinn in Estonia is to offer free public transport to its 400,000 citizens from January 2013. The aim is to green the city and secure cleaner air, Deputy Mayor Taavi Aas told Norwegian broadcaster NRK. Non-residents must buy e-tickets, while paper tickets will be abolished.
