Portugal foreign minister wants austerity measures re-evaluated

Portugal's minister of foreign affairs Paulo Portas said Sunday that recently imposed austerity measures need to be rediscussed, reports the AFP. "The government must have an open position to evaluate the situation with social partners and the country's institutions," he said. Portugal saw numerous anti-austerity demonstrations on Saturday.
