Former EU commissioner voted down as auditor

MEPs in the budgetary control committee have refused former multilingualism commissioner Leonard Orban to be appointed member of the European Court of Auditors. MEPs claimed Orban has no relevant experience as an auditor and stressed that he is too political, as he is currently Romania's minister for EU affairs.
