Eurozone joblessness on the rise

The number of people out of work in the eurozone of 17 member states reached a new high of 11.4 percent in August, according to the EU's statistical office, Eurostat. Some 18,196 million are unemployed in the eurozone, an increase of 2,144 million compared to August 2011.
