EU urges Turkish 'restraint' on Syria

EU foreign service chief Ashton has urged Syria and Turkey to show "restraint" after an exchange of fire across the border, which killed five Turks on Wednesday. Syria apologised for what it called an accident. Turkey called a Nato meeting Wednesday but did not invoke Article 5 on mutual defence.
