Netherlands threatens to veto budget

Joining ranks with Britain, the Netherlands has said it will veto both the EU's 2013 budget and its longterm 2014-2020 budget if they are above what it considers acceptable. Finance minister Jan Kees de Jager Tuesday told MPs that the Commission's proposed €9bn hike for the 2013 budget was "unbelievable."
