Merkel promises Turkey 'honest' EU talks

Chancellor Angela Merkel promised that Germany will support "honest membership talks" for Turkey, even though she personally does not agree with the country ever joining the club. Turkish PM Erdogan visited her in Berlin and expressed "frustration" at the stalling of EU talks, insisting Turkey should join by 2023.
