Germany vague on Irish debt

A Thursday meeting between Ireland's Enda Kenny and Germany's Angela Merkel saw a vague reassurance from Berlin that Dublin's bank legacy debt problem hasn't been forgotten. "We agreed in June that there was a special situation in Ireland, we are interested in a sustainable completion of the programme,” said Merkel.
