EU launches anti-subsidy investigation into Chinese solar trade

The European Commission Thursday launched an anti-subsidy investigation into imports of Chinese solar panels to the EU following a complaint from EU ProSun, an industry association over unfair Chinese government subsidies. In 2011 China exported solar panels and their key components worth around €21 billion to the EU.
