Parliament has 'positive assessment' on Borg

The European Parliament is set to approve the nomination of Maltese foreign minister Tonio Borg as EU health commissioner, according to a letter seen by AFP. MEPs had grilled Borg on his ultra-conservative views, but the MEP in charge of the parliament's committees wrote there was a "generally positive assessment."
