Ikea regrets use of former East German prisoners

Swedish furniture company Ikea on Friday expressed its regret for having profited from the use of political prisoners forced to work in its factories in East Germany during the Communist regime. The admission prompted calls from victims' associations for other Western companies with similar factories to make similar statements.
