Hungary warned to scrap 'discriminatory' taxes

The European Commission has told Hungary to re-write its budget laws on the retail and communications sector, saying that they disproportionately hit foreign firms. Hungary imposed the special levy in 2010 to help reduce its budget deficit. The country is continuing talks with the IMF over a possible bailout.
