EU may delay bank capital rules

Europe is preparing to follow the US in delaying the introduction of stricter rules - known as Basel III - on bank capital, reports Reuters, amid fears a US delay will put European banks at a disadvantage. The delay could push back the implementation of the rules until mid-2013.
