Berlin and Paris agree new ownership of defence firm EADS

Owners of the European aerospace and defence firm EADS announced Wednesday a far-reaching change of the company’s structure and governance. Germany and France will eventually hold equal stakes of about 12%, with Spain at 4% while current shareholders German carmaker Daimler and French media firm Lagardere will reduce their stakes.
